Advisor Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan participated in the admission test for North South University (NSU).
He took part in the written admission test for the Executive Masters in Policy and Governance (EMPG) program for the Summer 2025 session at NSU.
The admission test was held on Friday, April 25, from 10 AM to 1 PM at NSU’s campus. Asif Mahmud joined the exam in person along with other applicants.
It was only after the exam that many came to know he is an advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development, and Cooperatives in Bangladesh.
The EMPG program is run under NSU’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and it is designed for policymakers, administrative officers, development professionals, and researchers seeking specialized education.
The results of the admission test are expected to be published within one to two days. Those who pass will get the opportunity to enroll in the program.
Photos of Asif Mahmud participating in the admission test have gone viral on social media, drawing positive reactions from netizens.
Many praised his eagerness to pursue further education despite holding an important government advisory position, setting an example that continuous learning is essential at any stage.
